Intentional Affinity Cohorts

Intentional Affinity Cohorts bring together camp, retreat, and outdoor ministry leaders for meaningful conversations, shared learning, and mutual support. Through engaging topics, experienced leaders, and communities of peers, these groups create opportunities for professional growth, personal renewal, and stronger leadership in outdoor ministry.

Groups are organized around shared roles, interests, and experiences, creating space for leaders to connect with others who understand the unique challenges, opportunities, and calling of camp and retreat ministry. Whether you are new to leadership or bring years of experience, these cohorts offer a place to exchange ideas, explore new approaches, and strengthen the relationships that sustain our ministries.

New Directors’ Cohort
For camp and retreat directors in their first three years of leadership or those who are new to their current site. Build confidence, share experiences, and find a supportive community of peers to help navigate the challenges and celebrate the successes of leadership.

Program & Assistant Directors’ Cohort
For program directors, assistant directors, and others in program leadership roles who want to exchange ideas, learn from colleagues, and find encouragement in their work. Leave each session with fresh inspiration and practical tools to strengthen your ministry.

Women in Leadership

Parents with Young Children

A supportive space for camp and retreat leaders who are also parenting young children. Share stories, exchange wisdom, and explore creative ways to navigate the joys and challenges of caring for a family while leading a ministry.

Hospitality & Retreat Ministry
Explore creative ways to strengthen and grow retreat ministry through program development, hospitality, partnerships, and marketing. Exchange ideas and leave with practical strategies to refresh existing offerings, respond to emerging needs, and develop new opportunities for ministry.

Maintenance Consortium
Connect with maintenance professionals from camp, retreat, and outdoor ministries across denominations. Exchange ideas, troubleshoot common challenges, and share best practices for caring for the facilities and spaces that make ministry possible. Build a trusted network of peers who offer practical knowledge, creative solutions, and encouragement throughout the year.

DEI Leadership
Join camp and retreat leaders committed to fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging throughout outdoor ministry. Together, participants will exchange ideas, identify opportunities for meaningful action, and develop resources and practices that help our ministries become more welcoming, accessible, and reflective of the communities we serve.
