On February 5 & 6, 2021, the Youth Ministry Extravaganza will be held live for 100 participants in the Twin Cities, and also live-streamed for those who won't be able to travel. How about offering to the youth leaders in your service area, especially those who would have been going to the Extravaganza, the opportunity to get the live-stream together at a retreat at your camp/retreat center and have the opportunity to reflect, share and react in person - all with appropriate COVID-19 protocols, of course. Compass Points Certificate Continuing Education for Outdoor Ministry Professionals courses will be held September 12-18, 2021. At its most recent meeting, the LOM Education Committee approved this upcoming event for LOM Endorsement. Both events are sponsored by our colleagues of the Presbyterian Church Camp and Conference Association (PCCCA). LeaderWise is an organization with deep roots in the ELCA (https://www.leaderwise.org/). They have offered to LOM a very generous opportunity.  They will provide an online Boundaries Training course to individual members of LOM – free of charge. This is an event that usually has a fee for organizations of $2,300 - $3,400. Thank you very much, LeaderWise!  The training is taking place in two sessions.
