The Covid-19 pandemic has been a shock for everyone. It has necessitated major changes for the outdoor ministries provided by the camps and retreat centers of LOM financial consequences have been monumental. U.S. Government Payroll and Expenses Support for Nonprofits and Religious Institutions
There is good news for our U.S. camps and conference centers in the new CARES Act just passed by Congress. We encourage you to look into the Small Business Administration loans that are forgivable if used for payroll and some other expenses. Check out this article that describes the benefits for nonprofits in this legislation.

U.S. Government Expanded Unemployment Benefits
The CARES Act could also provide generous unemployment benefits even if your site has not paid into unemployment insurance. Each state will have their own rules and procedures and will post it on their Department of Labor page.
