LOM is a self-supporting organization, currently managed primarily by volunteers, which is dependent upon member fees and donations to do the important work of supporting our network of Lutheran Outdoor Ministry organizations and those who work in Outdoor Ministry as a career. Many of the services now provided by LOM were available through the ELCA, but with recent changes in the ELCA's structure, benevolence support from congreations and synods no longer provides the vital services you will find available here.
